More into fiction myself but if your life has been interesting enough to warrant a book I say go for it.

OR make a fiction book about a guy who visits five continents getting laid all the time and foiling Soviet plots.

Unless of course that's what you did do, in which case refer to sentence number one.

I only read sci-fi and technical books.

My former boss wrote a book, stole it directly from the Da Vinci Code, and made the main character a jew.

Pretty sure he hasn't sold a single copy of it yet.

Might be an interesting read, but there is not much left for striving in the field of Gonzo or Beat autobiographicals.

Amazing style and voice would be what sets apart a story that virtually has been told by everyone who ever wrote about life and drugs.
