Today...
Well, those that know me know i have a bit of a prestigious job that i need to keep the details under wraps as it affects my employment, but i just to share something that happened to me today:
So after day-to-day views of the architect's playground known as Chicago, I've many opportunities to see how the well-off's live in this world. So in my IT subservience to such bigwigs, i get the perks of their leftovers. Not a day goes by when a homeless person strolls across my train/pedestrian commute that doesn't, however subtly, asks for change. Well, as I crossed the Chicago River Bridge to take the train back to my suburbian home, I come across a homeless bucket drummer who jams everyday to the people crossing the river bridge to get to the train station. When i have change leftover from lunch i usually deposit it to him, but today I was carrying leftover boxes from Dunkin Donuts that we had leftover from a meeting. As i walk by, I'm carrying my box, he recognizes me and starts drumming extra hard, even amongst the full street of rush hour commuters and screams "dunkin donuts!" People scream at this guy daily to get a job and stop doing drugs, even though there's no evidence of him doing any. Now, mind you that this guy is full of talent, and it saddens me that despite his potential he lives so meagerly. Working overtime i had some time to kill before the next train comes around so i sit next to the guy [in full business dress attire] and share my donuts with him. He drums away scarfing donuts with me as full roads of people stream by. Anyway, i Just wanted to showcase how humans love/hate humans.

Thanks Komp.
For sharing with us. For sharing with him. They aren't separate acts. Knowing people help each other out, helps me out a whole lot. Thanks Komp.
