Dear Rev, A Wager
I promise to read and fully review your book on yahooka within one week's time, if you put out of context quips from random yahookans back in your sig.
DO YOU ACCEPT

So if you are god, shouldn't your sig say "read God's blog" and "read God's book"?
can't wait for the review, have been wondering about your book for a while, but with all the shit i gotta read for school (much of which i imagine is along similar lines), pleasure reading time is at a minimum. hopefully this can go on my summer reading list

![]() well played sir. are we god like squares are rectangles or like squares are squares? are we identical with god and reality as a whole, or do we participate in it as a part-whole/species-genus sort of way? how much wood would a wood chuck chuck if a would chuck could chuck wood?

Here's the article I wrote for "Philosophy Now" magazine (not yet published or rejected). It's the core argument for the idea that there is only one consciousness, and that it is yours.
Just in case 6 pages is more appealing to you than 200. ![]() The Rev |

I've ascribed to this idea ever since I learned that all matter is the same physically at it's basest level.
I like that you can articulate my thoughts better than I can. Which I guess is more proof that we are all "I". ![]() I haven't read the book yet, as I want to wait until I can actually buy it from you, but I was wondering, do you include all matter in the you=me=us=god theory or do you only apply it to conscious beings? Personally I think it's a Universal thing and not just relegated to consciousness. What it all leads up to though... that's still something I haven't quite grasped. Maybe I will in a different life. Or maybe I already have and I'm just waiting to hear it from myself in the future. Who knows?

As for inclusion of all things, if I were to do that, I would do it on the basis that all things were conscious, from people on down to rocks and such. I don't explore that idea in the book, but I have a hunch that everything possesses consciousness. It's just that the experience of being a rock would be extremely different from that of being a person (rocks have no senses or mind, for example, and since humans experience everything through these conduits, it's impossible to know what awareness would be like without them), and entirely a matter of conjecture. I chose, instead, to stick to ideas that I could prove, and expanded on the ramifications of those. It's an interesting and valid question, tho. I just didn't cover it. ![]() The Rev |

Liked the short article, it was a little harder to wrap my head around one consciousness after being mindfucked by the rest of the book
Kinda of reminds me of a Gaea theory or whatever- the idea that earth itself is a single creature/emergent property- but expanded on a more universal scale. Let me know if that gets published!

Unfortunately, i got promoted the same week i made this bet, so i've had to do training on top of the job i have now, so I was unable to finish it off, but rest assured it will happen this week.
