Poem - Do You See Me
This is for all the ladies on the message board, since I am in a emotional state at the moment and with that said here it goes!
Do You See Me Do you see me crying, do you see me dying, do you see me trying? Do you see me falling, do you see me calling, do you see me crawling? Do you see me in pain, do you see me in chains, do you see me contain? Do you see my eyes, right before you lie? Then push away my love as if to deny? Do you see me hurt, for everything that’s worth, a tear in the dirt? Do you see what I can see? Do you see what was meant to be? Do you see me? Do you see too much, do you see me begging for a touch, do you see everything but us? What do you see? That makes you not believe, a love that was yours for eternity? What do you see? When you cry in front of me, fearing something unsurely? What do you see? When you turn your back on me, thinking things absurdly? What do you see? When I held you tightly, wishing it wouldn’t be a memory? What do you see? When tears fall like leaves, from a promise that was our tree? What do you see? Do you see what was meant to be? Do you see me? Let me see, don’t leave me, don’t stop whispering words of ecstasy. Let me see, to finally break free, of this world of misery. Let me see, so that we can be, in heaven that is our destiny. So what do you see? Do you see me? If so please let me see… Short and sweet, feedback is welcomed! Peaze... Nice. Writing's a good release. Why is it that guys don't think that it's 'manly' to show emotions? I think it's nice to be reminded that masculinity does not equal lack of compassion or lack of emotion.
