An old poem that I just had to think up of on the spot due to a sudden poetry contest I entered. I forgot the deadline so here it is!

Crucifying Myself

I tend to speak; yet I fail to see
The lost utopia, the spirits around me
I block out my mind, and the sights to be
Denying the pure truth, reaching for the key
Scared with reality, slapped and still not free
These chains of fate bind me to an unholy deed
For when everything crumbles, everything begins to breathe
Lying on the air, still I cannot fully heed
For what my heart accepts, my mind rejects
For what my soul feels, my spirit regrets
And everything breaks apart, as it is to connect
I cry alone as standing before a mirror that reflects
The chaos to hate, pointing at me to berate
From the bleeding of the mind, to finally my heart deliberate
The sentence of fools laughing as if to forsake
They lay me on my cross, and let me unravel my fate
Just don’t let go of my hand, for already I am weak
To see to move to hear, and finally to speak
Begotten are my tears, falling into hell
Alone I fly, stand, and crawl crucifying myself.

Dude, Bondi... go to BMI website and type in something like 'More Than Words Can Say' or "Time" or "I Love You" or something like that and see how many songs are written by that title... I doubt that it was stolen, man. My parents had to change the bloody name of their business because it included the word "Sun" which is trade-marked... Jesus... this world is fucked by corporate assholes.

I dont even know who Tori Amos is.

But either way this is a poem that I just thought up of and I never copyrighted anyone nor stole anything of this from someone else. This is all my own original work, thank you very much!

I think it would be pretty tough to crucify ones self. Even if you have a nail gun once you get one arm nailed in how would you get the 2nd one?

If you have 4 arms you're still only be able to nail in 3 of them.

And if I had super powers I could think of better things to do with them, like turning invisible in the girls locker room or something.

Well.. if you wanna go by the "traditional" definition of crucificition I guess you're right. But cmon.. its 2005 mang.. I'm sure Jesus would want us to have thought of a better way of crucifying mutants by now.

Umm.. You know its just a poem right? Plus when Jesus was crucified Roman soldiers did it to him. But he was still crucified was he not? My name Crucified Rose doesn't mean a Rose Crucified itself. Its more to bring out the innocence which has been battered and bruised along with put along such hardships to be whipped and chained to a cross. Its more of a analogy to really realize that this world is doing away with the good and going more towards evil. But then again thats nothing new, now read my poem again biatches and LIKE IT!
